African Copper Plc (ACU) has its primary listing on London's AIM, with secondary listings on the Toronto and Botswana exchanges. Through its wholly-owned Botswana subsidiary, Messina Copper (Botswana) (Pty) Ltd, it is constructing the Mowana Mine (copper), which is situated approximately 130 kilometres north-east of Francistown. The Botswana Management would like to start discussions with the following suitably qualified personnel with a view of making appointments in the near future. Pre-screening will form part of the selection process and will be carried out in all major centres. Short-listed candidates will be invited to a final interview in Francistown.
The ideal candidates are team players who are comfortable dealing with all levels of management. They have outstanding communications skills with an attention to detail and show the ability to work well and independently under pressure with frequent change and possible ambiguity.
The applicants must have strong academic results and show excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Self-starters who enjoy a fast-paced and results-orientated environment will fit well with the team. Successful applicants must show a proven ability to work with confidential information and maintain absolute discretion.
